The use of the medicinal plants of Amorgos is part of the healing traditions of the island since ancient times. This activity is held at the Aegialis Hotel & Spa organic garden, where you will be accompanied by a person who will introduced to the history and uses of some of these herbs and plants. You will learn to distinguish the aroma and appearance of the herbs and how to use them for well-being purposes and as a gastronomic ingredient. Afterwards you can enjoy a fresh delicious juice made with herbs from the garden. The island of Amorgos has over 600 species of herbs and aromatic plants inluding 40 endemics.
